XFYD Chess Class for Grades 6-8

Designed for middle school students, this class focuses on more advanced chess strategies and tactics. Participants will strengthen critical thinking and teamwork while enjoying a challenging and interactive learning experience. This class series is for students in sixth to eighth grade. This program is presented by our partners at XFYD Bay Area – Milpitas High School and is a 15-part class series. Registration is required and covers all 15 sessions. Parenting Program: The Safe Link Parent Workshop

In this parent-focused workshop, teen survivor Cynthia Wang explains how sextortion actually unfolds online, the patterns adults need to recognize, the practical steps families can take to prevent and respond safely, and the conversations that help kids open up without fear or shame. Join us for a grounded, eye-opening conversation rooted in lived experience, and a chance for parents to feel more equipped, confident, and connected to the digital world their kids are navigating every day. Bedtime Storytime

Join us for evening Family Storytime in our program room! This storytime series is suitable for all ages and will feature stories, songs, rhymes and dances, all to encourage the development of crucial early literacy skills. Parents and children will listen together, learn together, and sing together. Storytime is limited to the first 100 families, with a maximum of 2 adults per family group.
