Robert Buelteman was raised in Woodside and is the only artist ever given unlimited access to the 24,000 acre Crytal Springs Watershed. During his ten years on the property he developed a deep appreciation for its history. Join us for an informative presentation about this important piece of land whose development gave rise to the city of San Francisco and provides for the high quality of life we enjoy here on the Peninsula. Learn about the 1874 Crystal Springs Resort, the very first vineyard planted in California, and Lower Crystal Springs Dam, completed in 1890 as the largest concrete structure anywhere in the world.
