Summer Music in the Courtyard: Latin Jazz with the Lunar Octet

This award-winning band based in Michigan will visit the Cupertino Library for a fun concert of Latin Jazz that will make you want to move!  The Lunar Octet band plays highly original and eclectic repertoire drawing on Cuban and Puerto Rican salsa, rock, African high-life music, and Brazilian sambas to forge a new sound enriched by these traditions. The band's compositions involve rich arrangements and strong focus on soloists.
