Summer 2026 Plant a Seed, Read: Make-a-Book-Bag Craft

A Los Altos Library children's summer tradition! Ready for some creativity? Drop-in at this fun event where we will decorate book bags to take home. We will provide the bags, felt die-cut pieces, stencils, and markers. Then use those beautiful bags to carry your library books! This is a special event for this year's Summer Reading Program: Plant a Seed, Read. Thank you to the Los Altos Friends of the Library for their generosity in making this event possible. Each adult must be accompanied by one or more children. Drop in anytime between 3:30-5:30 and allow plenty of time to make a bag. First-come first-served, while supplies last.
