Join STEMMable for a hands-on STEM session exploring density by creating a 4-layer lava lamp! Using common household liquids, students will learn how different densities interact by creating a colorful, unmixed stack of liquids! All materials will be provided. STEMMable is a girl-led youth nonprofit in the San Francisco Bay Area that loves getting kids excited about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). A dedicated group of teen volunteers from eight local high schools presents free, hands-on workshops where kids can explore, build, and have fun while learning something new. We would love for your family to attend these upcoming workshops! The events are designed for kids ages 6–12; however, younger children (ages 4–8) are welcome too if they attend with a parent, older sibling, or other caregiver. This event will take place in the Community Room of the Biblioteca Latinoamericana. Free. Registration is available. Drop-ins are also welcome. ADA Accommodation Requests
