This program is best for students in grades 3-5. Limited to the first 25 participants on a first come, first served basis. In this session, we will have an introduction to chemistry, and use everyday substances commonly found around a home to examine chemical reactions. STEMLadder is a volunteer- and student-led initiative providing hands-on insight into STEM fields to students looking to expand their interest in different STEM subjects. Each session will include an interactive lesson presented by well-versed student volunteer tutors and be accompanied by an immersive activity or experiment. By inspiring creativity and problem solving through the application of learned ideas, we aim to provide a memorable lesson of each core concept with thoughtful takeaways. Free, with limited capacity. Limited to the first 25 participants on a first come, first served basis. We aim to conclude the program by 3pm, but please allow up to 15 minutes buffer time to make sure everyone can finish their experiment.ADA Accommodation Requests
