STEAM Club for Kids
The STEAM Club for Kids is a monthly, one-hour program designed to engage students in hands-on learning across science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. Simple, exciting, and perfect for young scientists of all ages! Each session introduces a unique STEAM theme featuring an interactive activity, a collaborative project and occasionally a guest speaker. This program takes place on first Friday from February - April. Grades: 3rd thru 8thFeb 6--The Art of Engineering: Explore how engineering blends creativity and design through real-world examples like roller coasters and cars. Participate in a mini CAD design challenge using Tinkercad for a hands-on learning experience.Mar 6--Artificial Intelligence & Robotics: Understanding the role of AI and robotics in the modern world through fun interactive learning.Apr 3--Balloon Launchers (Forces & Motion): Children will design and test their own balloon-powered rockets using just a balloon and a clothespin. They’ll explore how force, motion, and air pressure work, through fun, hands-on launches across the room. No registration required. First come, first serve. Limit to 30. ADA Accommodation Requests
