The STEAM Club for Kids is a monthly, one-hour program designed to engage students in hands-on learning across science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. Each session introduces a unique STEAM theme featuring an interactive activity, a collaborative project and occasionally a guest speaker. This program takes place on first Friday August thru October and on second Friday in November. Grades: 3rd thru 8th August 1: Mobile and Traditional Art See how mobile devices and traditional art tools help grow creativity through both digital and hands-on art.Bringing your tablet or phone is highly recommended. September 5: The Art of Engineering Explore how engineering blends creativity and design through real-world examples like roller coasters and cars. Participate in a mini CAD design challenge using Tinkercad for a hands-on learning experienceOctober 3: Artificial Intelligence & Robotics Understanding the role of AI and robotics in the modern world through fun interactive learning. November 14: Video Games: Design, Logic & Creativity Learning the basics the of video game design, logic, and creativity. No registration required. First come, first serve.
