Add to Calendar

Children in kindergarten to second grade are invited to participate in hands-on science experiments alongside their parents and caregivers. Jasmine and José take a trip to the redwood forest and are amazed by the height of the trees. What makes these tall trees stable? Make a model to investigate how the Redwood tree's root system helps it stand tall. This program is designed to be self-paced, and it is expected that accompanying adults will facilitate the activities with their children. Registration is required as space is limited. For accessibility accommodations (ex. ASL), please fill out the online form at sccld.org/accessibility 7+days prior to the event. If you need assistance with the form, speak with a staff member at your local library, call (408) 540-3945, or email us at ask@sccl.org.
