Reading Buddy in English & Spanish

Help your child build confidence and strengthen their English or Spanish reading skills in a fun and supportive environment! Children in kindergarten through 3rd grade are invited to read aloud in English or Spanish to trained teen volunteers who will offer encouragement and help with pronunciation when needed. Whether your child is a fluent English or Spanish reader or is still building their confidence, Reading Buddy in English and Spanish provides a welcoming space to practice reading skills, celebrate bilingual literacy, and foster a lifelong love of reading—especially for students enrolled in dual-language immersion programs.
