Piggy Bank Pioneers
Piggy Bank Pioneers: A Playful Path to Financial Literacy Join members of Mountain View High School’s Personal Finance Club to improve your financial literacy skills through a fun, interactive game! This month's games will be "Making Mooo-lah" and "Penny Pinchers' Party," designed for children ages 5-9. In "Making Mooo-lah," players will navigate through a year of four farming seasons while attempting to generate profits for the farm without going bankrupt. In "Penny Pinchers' Party," players will work together to create a budget as party planners. Players need to have knowledge of addition and subtraction. Please note that space will be limited and advance registration is required. When registering the number of attendees, only count the number of children who will be participating in the event (do not include any caregivers, though caregivers should plan to accompany and participate alongside their children). For accessibility accommodations (ex. ASL), please fill out the online form at sccld.org/accessibility 7+ days prior to the event. If you need assistance with the form, speak with a staff member at your local library, call (408) 540-3945, or email us at ask@sccl.org.
