Children in grades K-8 and their parents/caregivers are invited to join us for a fun and informative 1-hour workshop designed to help future pet owners get ready for life with a new furry friend! At this workshop, participants will: Learn about the real costs and responsibilities of pet ownership; Create toys and blankets to donate to local shelter animals; Take home a brochure with tips on pet care, affordable food and toys, and budgeting for common pets like dogs, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs. Whether you're considering adoption or just love animals, this workshop is a great way to get informed and give back!Free. All supplies will be provided. Pre-registration is not required.
