Music & Movement Storytime
Join us for music, stories, and joyful play at this storytime perfect for families with young children. Music and movement help our littlest learners develop their communication skills, their imagination, and their connection with the loving grown-ups in their lives. Let's sing!Free, with limited capacity. Vehicle parking may be limited. A small number of strollers may be parked outside the Children's Room; no strollers in storytime, please. Sensory Notes: - Sound: This storytime will be noisy with singing, instruments, and pre-recorded music. Let the librarian know before storytime begins if you would like to borrow a pair of ear defenders for your child. - Visuals: This storytime is usually very busy with lots of families moving around. - Texture: This storytime sometimes includes the use of soft scarves, weighted beanbags, and other textured items. Children are always free to skip these activities if they prefer. Need a social story?
