Magic of Magnetism: STEM Workshop

Get ready for an "attractive" learning experience with an absolutely irresistible magnetic lab. Participants will have the opportunity to create their own compass with needles and water, see real magnetic field lines, and even draw out iron filings from food. Students will also get the opportunity to manipulate iron filings with magnets to make fun structures. Free. No registration required. Recommended for elementary school students with adult supervision. Presented by teen volunteers in Girls Empowered in Math and Science (GEMS).  ADA Accommodation Requests
