Un-earth spectacular sounds that will send you over the moon! The award-winning Lunar Octet bring eclectic music enriched by the traditions of Cuban and Puerto Rican salsa, rock, African high-life music and Brazilian sambas. The band's original compositions involve rich arrangements and strong focus on soloists. Enjoy exciting, dynamic and powerful music, including fiery Latin grooves, driving funk rhythms, swinging bop tunes and romantic ballads. This performance is for all ages and will take place in the Library Program Room. Registration is not required. Arrive early as seats will be limited. This year's Summer Reading theme is "Unearth a Story". Starting in May, sign up on Beanstack or pick up a paper reading log at the Library to join the challenge.
