Little Explorers: Tape Town!

Welcome to Tape Town! Borrow a small toy car or bring your own and zip around the masking-tape streets in our Community Room. Little drivers will be able to drive their toy cars through Tape Town's different little landmarks - a play car wash, play ice cream shop, and more! And don't forget to stop by Tape Town's DMV to get your little driver their very own play driver's license.Little Explorers is a monthly creativity-based program for families with toddlers and preschoolers. Join us on the first Friday of the month to explore new ways to play and learn!Free, with limited capacity. Vehicle parking may be limited. A small number of strollers may be parked outside the Children's Room; no strollers in Tape Town, please. Sensory Notes: - Sound: Tape Town may become noisy with lots of play. Let the librarian know if you would like to borrow a pair of ear defenders for your child. - Visuals: Tape Town will have different stations for play.  Bright colors and lots of little drivers will make Tape Town visually busy. - Texture: Different stations at Tape Town may include cardboard box tunnels, dangling streamers, and other unusual textures. Children are always free to skip these activities if they prefer.For accessibility accommodations (ex.
