Introduction to Python For Beginners

Description Join us to learn the basics of engineering and Python programming; no prior knowledge needed! In 8-weeks, we'll cover Python fundamentals, hands-on projects, and grow our technical skills and enthusiasm for future STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) learning opportunities. This program is intended for 3-5th grade students. This program meets weekly on Sundays starting at 11:00 AM from September 14th through November 2nd. Registration is required for the full 8-week series, as each session builds upon the last.* Due to limited library laptop availability, bringing your own device with Wi-Fi connection capabilities for coding is highly encouraged! If you cannot bring a laptop, please check out a Chromebook at the library's front desk ahead of time for each class. *Registration will open on August 14th at 9:00 AM.
