This virtual, five-week program will equip middle and high schoolers with a solid foundation in artificial intelligence (AI). Students will explore technical topics of computer vision and audio classification alongside ethical implications of AI and its applications. Sessions will include interactive games and discussions to reinforce learning. By the end of the program, students will develop and present an AI project of their own to solve a real-world problem. No prior experience is required, and students of all skill-levels are welcome! Who Can Join? This course is designed for students of all levels, whether you're a complete beginner or looking to expand your coding knowledge. If you're curious about AI and eager to learn, this is the perfect opportunity! Age: 8-14 years old recommended (Middle School). Dates: Every Saturday from 11:00am-12:00pm, from September 6 - October 4. Please plan on attending all 5 sessions total. Registration: Please register on this page to attend the course (an email address is required). Software: We will be using Zoom to host the program virtually.
