Insect Discovery Lab -Sensory Friendly Experience[Summer Reading 2026]
Plant a seed and foster a love of nature. Join the Gilroy Library as we explore the fantastic lives of beetles, millipedes, hissing cockroaches, walking sticks, whip scorpions and more! Presenters from SaveNature will introduce you to the diverse world of insects and teach you about their key role in the web of life. You will even have the opportunity to touch and hold some of these creatures. These shows are limited to 50 children. First come, first served. Tickets will be handed out 30 minutes before the start of each show at the children's reference desk.For accessibility accommodations (ex.
