Furry Friends Reading Buddies

Come practice your reading skills and read aloud to a friendly dog or cat -- your very own furry audience!  You can bring a book from home or borrow one from the Children's Room.  This program is perfect for emergent readers.  Children in grades K-8 are welcome to participate.   You may register for a 10-minute session online beginning two days before the event. Please only reserve spots for the children participating (not adults) and provide the child's name in the registration with parents' email information For accessibility accommodations (ex. ASL), please fill out the online form at sccld.org/accessibility 7+days prior to the event.
