Persuasion is a skill students use every day, whether it’s about recess rules, weekend plans, or who gets the last cookie. Learning how to make your point clearly and respectfully builds confidence that lasts a lifetime.In this interactive session, students will practice persuasive communication through fun, game-based activities. They’ll explore how to build strong arguments, listen actively, and express their ideas in ways that connect with others.This workshop offers a supportive space to sharpen communication skills, strengthen critical thinking, and have a blast while doing it.No prior experience is necessary. All are welcome! Future Speakers Initiative (FSI) is a teen-led nonprofit dedicated to bridging the gap in access to speech and debate education for underserved communities. This  interactive workshop is open to students in grades 3-5. The workshop blends short lectures, group activities, and speaking practice. Led by experienced high school speech and debate leaders, the program is designed to be fun, confidence-boosting, and accessible to all skill levels.  Free. Registration required (using your child(ren's) name(s) is recommended). Limited to 20 children who are in grades 3-5.
