Friday Fun: Owl Pellet Dissection
What did the Barn Owl have for dinner? Children (ages 5-12) will dissect an owl pellet & analyze the bones of the prey of the barn owl. Each child will go home with a bag of rodent bones from the dissection! In addition to the hands-on science activities, children’s books and a mini puppet show will enhance the understanding of the science concepts. This program is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Willow Glen Branch Library. Supplies are limited to 25 participants, tickets will be available at the info desk at 3pm the day of the program. Join us every Friday at the Willow Glen Branch Library for a fun activity for kids. Activities may include arts & crafts, special performances or workshops, and board or video games. Note: 2nd Friday of every month is free play with Legos®! All supplies will be provided. Free.
