Linden Tree and all-star authors Joanna Ho and Caroline Kusin Pritchard launch The Day the Books Disappeared (illustrated by Dan Santat), a timely story about a boy who is delighted to discover that he can make all the books in his classroom vanish… only to realize he has created a complete disaster!! Caroline and Joanna will be joined by Maggie Tokuda-Hall, a founder of Authors Against Book Banning , and librarian & new host of Reading Rainbow , Mychal Threets. This important discussion will celebrate the importance of reading freely and explore ways to fight back against book banning. This event is free to attend, but RSVP is required.
