Ready to build, play, and discover with technology? Join our 2-day Digital Discovery Workshop for girls and gender-expansive students entering grades 1 to 3. Led by experienced educators, this hands-on program introduces young learners to exciting STEAM topics like coding, robotics, digital literacy, and digital design. They will build foundational tech skills while using their imagination and having fun along the way. This workshop is designed for beginners and takes place in a welcoming, supportive environment. No prior experience is needed. Please note that while our girls and gender-expansive programs are designed to support underrepresented youth, they do not exclude male-identifying participants. These efforts are part of our broader commitment to ensuring everyone has access to meaningful learning opportunities in coding, STEM, and computer science. Daily Workshop Schedule Thursday, June 25 and Friday, June 26 Drop-off: 9 to 9:15 a.m.Program Time: 9:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.Pick-up: 4:15 to 4:30 p.m. Important Information: Free. Registration is required.Participants should bring a snack and a lunch from home.Library staff and teachers may take photos during the program for promotional use. Please speak with the instructor at check-in to complete a photo release form to grant or deny permission.Parents and caregivers will be asked to complete a short post-program survey to help us improve future workshops.For students entering grades 1-3 ADA Accommodation Requests
