Changemakers Book Club for Grades 1-2

Calling all the children in Grades 1 and 2 to join our Summer Reading Book Club! We’re celebrating America’s 250th Birthday with book club selection, Ellie May on President's Day by Hillary Homzie.Changemakers Book Club celebrates early chapter books with culturally diverse voices and stories! Changemaker readers will be able to discuss the book and make a craft that represents the main character or theme of the book. Register at the Children's Reference Desk beginning June 30 and pick up a copy of the book. Please note Changemakers book club is for children who have just completed 1st and 2nd grade in the 2025-2026 school year.
