Explore a cave at the Library! CaveSim designs and builds interactive caves that teach explorers about conservation and science. Participants of all ages can crawl and climb through the simulation to learn about caves and test their explorer skills. As you maneuver your way through the 150 feet of artificial cave passages, you'll learn about responsible caving while trying to preserve delicate cave formations. You will get hands-on practice with a cave rescue stretcher and a working cave rescue phone. This simulator is now wheelchair accessible so anyone can enjoy this experience! This program will be held in the Library Parking Lot. Registration is not required, but it is first come, first served. This year's Summer Reading theme is "Unearth a Story". Sign up on Beanstack or pick up a paper reading log at the Library to join the challenge. Summer Reading runs June 1 to August 31. Like all Sunnyvale Public Library programs, this event is free to attend. For questions and disability accommodations, contact the Library at 408-730-7300 or chat with a librarian.
