Children in grades K-3 are invited to join us for STEAM Club every Friday from 4:00-5:00 PM. Each week, participants will experience an exciting, new STEAM adventure involving hands-on activities that integrate different aspects of STEAM and showcase how STEAM concepts are applied in the real world (a list of session topics may be found here).This program is free and all materials will be provided. Parents are welcome to attend with their children. Recommended for children in grades K-3, but younger children may attend with parental assistance. Pre-registration not required, but space is limited. SPHERO ROBOTS: Open Workshop + Lessons

Intended for Students 5+ years old Students will be using Sphero Robots + Sphero Apps + iPads to control their robots and program and code activities. Parents, caregivers, and siblings welcome. This will be an open workshop meaning you can just mess around with the robot via the draw or block coding options or follow a lesson in the app and code it to do something. This is the beginner/younger age friendly robotics class. An instructor & /volunteers will be available for help. STEM: Mathema Adventures: A D&D-Inspired Math Games Program for Kids

Join us for a Dungeons & Dragons session that will be built around the magical world of Mathema, where math problems are as numerous as the creatures you will encounter in this interactive and immersive adventure that will help young patrons practice math. Each session will cover different grade-level math concepts. And math problems will be customized according to the grade level(s) of participants. For the September 18th program, the following grade-level concepts will be covered. Kindergarten - Making 10 First Grade - Adding through and subtracting from 1 through 5 Second Grade - Addition to 10 and adding in any order Third Grade - Adding through 20, subtracting through 20, adding two-digit numbers, and subtracting two-digit number Fourth Grade - Place value, comparing numbers, and ordering numbers Fifth Grade - Multiplying by multiples of 10, one-digit by multi-digit multiplication, two-digit by two-digit multiplication, two-digit by three-digit multiplication, and two-digit by four-digit multiplication.
