STEM: Explore Veterinary Science

Some of our puppets are not feeling well, join our program to see if you can give them a proper checkup.In this one-hour program, young patrons will explore how veterinarians help animals with play medical gear and diagrams of animal skeletal and organ structures. Chill Out with Mindfulness Meditation
Time: 11:00 AM | Location: Mitchell Park Library - Midtown Room
Description Center yourself and increase your focus with mindfulness meditation led by Phuong Pham. Each session begins with an introduction to meditation, 15 minutes of sitting and releasing meditation, and group sharing and Q&A. This program is open to all ages, young and old, and all levels of experience. Children under 10 years old must be accompanied by an adult. No registration is required. Participants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mats and/or meditation cushions. Chairs are available for adults who do not bring them.
