Baby Lap-Sit Storytime (Age 0-1)

Join us for Baby Lap-Sit Storytime at the Library! Baby storytime is the perfect way to learn about early literacy with your non-walking baby. Join us in a friendly circle as we read board books together and sing fun songs to engage your non-walking children. Baby Storytime will take place in the Children’s Room before our Library opens - please note that you will need to enter through the Garden Gate on the very right side of the building, instead of entering through our main entrance doors. Family Storytime

Description Join Librarian Jennifer (and Rocky Raccoon) on Tuesdays at 10:30 AM for Family Storytime at Children’s Library! Come sing, rhyme, and read stories with us! While this storytime will be geared towards those older than 2 years, all ages are welcome! Please note that this storytime is an indoor/outdoor program. Access to the Secret Garden outside is weather dependent. Storytime will be held inside when the garden is unavailable. Make sure to follow us on YouTube for more stories, songs and rhymes, including a playlist of all of our favorite songs to sing!

Signs and Rhymes Storytime With Stay and Play!

Toddler Time with JAMaROO (Bilingual Mandarin/Cantonese and English)

Sing and dance at this special with bilingual (Mandarin/Cantonese and English) music performance from JAMaROO. This program is for ages 2 to 5 and their caregivers. This program will be in the Library Program Room. No registration is required, but space is limited. Doors will close when the room is full. This program is a part of the 2026 Summer Reading Program Unearth a Story. Sign up starting June 1 on Beanstack. Baby Bouncers Lapsit for Prewalkers

Join us on Tuesday mornings for Baby Bouncers Lapsit (for non-walking babies) up to 12 months old. This is a baby and caregivers program with an early literacy focus on traditional nursery rhymes, lap bounces, body rhymes, songs, very short and simple picture books. Caregivers are welcome to bring a blanket for their babies to lay on. The Baby Bouncers Lapsit program is a short 15 to 20 minute program. Gear Up! Designing for a Purpose

Join us for a hands-on exploration of robotics and the design thinking process!
Participants will practice hands-on engineering skills using the Hummingbird Bit Kit , and work towards a cumulative project over the course of this one-week summer workshop. Students will learn how to block code, use sensors, and combine design thinking with technical skills. Walk away with a newfound excitement for engineering!
