Baby Lap-Sit Storytime (Age 0-1)
Time: 9:30 AM | Location: Los Gatos Public Library - Children’s Room
Join us for Baby Lap-Sit Storytime at the Library! Baby storytime is the perfect way to learn about early literacy with your non-walking baby. Join us in a friendly circle as we read board books together and sing fun songs to engage your non-walking children. Baby Storytime will take place in the Children’s Room before our Library opens - please note that you will need to enter through the Garden Gate on the very right side of the building, instead of entering through our main entrance doors. Family Storytime
Time: 10:30 AM | Location: Palo Alto - Children’s Library
Description Join Librarian Jennifer (and Rocky Raccoon) on Tuesdays at 11:00 AM for Family Storytime at Children’s Library! Come sing, rhyme, and read stories with us! While this storytime will be geared towards those older than 2 years, all ages are welcome! BYOS (bring your own scarf)! Some of our songs use scarves as props. Bring something scarf-like (any piece of fabric). Otherwise, you can always pretend! Make sure to follow us on YouTube for more stories, songs and rhymes, including a playlist of all of our favorite songs to sing!
Toddler Storytime
Time: 11:00 AM | Location: Sunnyvale Library
Join us for Toddler Storytime at 11 a.m. This program is for children age 1 to 3 and their caregivers. This program will be in the Library Program Room. No registration required, but space is limited. Doors will close when the room is full. Learn about the climate change and it’s health impacts and participate in a craft for Earth Day! This program is recommended for children grades 3 to 8 and their caregivers. This program will be in the Library Program Room. No registration is required. LEGO Tuesdays!

Description We have the LEGOs! Bring your imagination and build something fun! LEGOs will stay at the library, so be sure to snap a pic of your creation! In addition to being a great way to introduce the engineering and art concepts of STEAM, playing with LEGO’s supports early childhood development because children engage in problem solving, teamwork, self-confidence, and creativity!
Oyster Shell Decoupage Art for Kids (Ages 7-12)

Oyster Shell Decoupage Art Come hang out with art instructor Makiko Niwa at this fun & hands-on workshop at the Library! You’ll get to turn oyster shells into art pieces while learning some basic decoupage skills with paper napkins. These little treasures are great for gifts or to spice up your room decor. No experience needed—just bring your curiosity and creativity! We’ll provide all the supplies. Children ages 7-12 are welcome. Registration is required.
