Musical Jamboree With Stay and Play!
Time: 10:30 AM | Location: Atherton - Children’s Room
It’s a musical jamboree! Join us as we make music together in this silly, song-and-dance-filled storytime for all ages. This event will be held in the children’s room at the Atherton Library. After Storytime, join us for Stay and Play where kids and their caregivers can practice interpersonal skills, and have fun learning to share and socialize!

Join us on Thursday mornings for Toddler Storytime: Stories and Songs for 1-2 year olds. This story time features lots of movement, singing, and action. Early literacy focus is on very short picture books, with simple flannel board stories, fingerplays, and lots of repetition. Join us for Storytime for Babies in our first floor program room! This storytime series is suitable for children ages 0 to 1 and will feature stories, songs, fingerplays, and more, all to encourage the development of crucial early literacy skills. Parents and babies will listen together, learn together, and play together. This storytime is for pre-walkers and is limited to the first 30 babies, with a maximum of 2 adults per family group. We will sing, move, and read together as we work on developing our early literacy skills while also building community connections. Next Chapter Book Club: IRL

Join us for open time to use the library’s sewing machines. Bring your own project or pick from a previous library sewing project. Needles, thread, iron, and cutting tools are provided for use in the library. No fabric is provided except for scraps. There will be no formal instruction, but assistance will be provided for the machines if necessaryThis program is open only to adults 18+.No registration required, as time and space permit.
