Cookbook Club

Time: 5:00 PM | Location: Los Gatos Public Library - Conference Room

March’s theme is “Bridges to Belonging”! Each month we have a theme that you are free to interpret however you’d like. Choose a recipe to make from one of the many cookbooks or other resources in our collection- don’t worry, we’ll have plenty of suggestions for you! Then we’ll meet to talk about books and cooking and enjoy each other’s company. Photos of your finished dish are encouraged but not required. In conjunction with Silicon Valley Reads , our theme this month is Bridges to Belonging (and we promise it won’t be as difficult as it sounds!). Cooking and food have a way of connecting us in such a deeply personal way and we want to celebrate that! The options for what to make this month are wide open: you can make something you’d bring a new neighbor to welcome them to the neighborhood, something that’s comforting to you, something that might be found in many different cultures (like noodles, or bread, or even dumplings), or just something that you’ve been wanting to make and talk about with our Cookbook Club group. Browse our incredible cookbook collection in the Library or our ebooks on CloudLibrary , find something that looks interesting to you, and cook! Come to our meeting ready to talk all about what you made and the book you used. Don’t forget to sign up for our Cookbook Club newsletter to get all the latest updates and cookbook suggestions! You can sign up here . The Los Gatos Library recognizes the diversity of our community and is committed to accessibility for all patrons.
