Baby Bounce Storytime

Join Librarian Sara for a Baby Bounce Storytime specially designed for our tiniest library friends and their caregivers. Each week, we will explore the magic of stories, songs, and movement in a welcoming space that encourages bonding and fun. This is the perfect place to meet other families, build early learning skills, and make memories with your little one. Baby Bounce is about 20 minutes followed by Stay & Play time. Caregivers are welcome to bring a blanket for their babies to lay on. This program is appropriate for infants and pre-walking babies, ages 0-12 months. Reading Buddies

Reading Buddies provides students in grades TK-5 with an opportunity to improve their reading skills by working one-on-one with a reading coach. Reading Buddies creates a positive reading experience for beginning and developing readers and helps children build confidence as readers. Our reading coach will listen to children read and provide support in phonics, sight words, and comprehension. Students can bring their favorite book or choose from the available selection at the Mt. Pleasant Branch. Free. Pre-registration not required. However, reading sessions are available on a first come, first served basis and the duration of reading sessions may be limited depending on the number of participating students.Participants can also use their session to read away their fines!
