Family Storytime With Stay and Play!
Time: 10:30 AM | Location: Atherton - Children’s Room
Get ready to learn and play with your little one! Hear new stories, sing songs and learn wiggles that the whole family can enjoy together, from toddlers to grown-ups. This event will be held in the children’s room at the Atherton Library. After Storytime, join us for Stay and Play, where kids and their caregivers can practice interpersonal skills and have fun learning to share and socialize!
Family Storytime
Time: 11:00 AM | Location: Sunnyvale Library
Join us for Family Storytime at 11 a.m. This program is for children of all ages and their caregivers. This program will be in the Library Program Room. No registration required, but space is limited. Doors will close when the room is full. Accessibility: Pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, the City of Sunnyvale will make reasonable efforts to accommodate persons with disabilities. Description Join us on Saturdays at 11:00 AM for Family Storytime at Mitchell Park Library. Come sing, rhyme, and read stories with us! While this storytime will be geared towards those older than 2 years, all ages are welcome! Make sure to follow us on YouTube for more stories, songs and rhymes, including a playlist of all of our favorite songs to sing!
Maker Exploration for Families

Want to explore our Makerspace? Come and join us during our open hours to learn about 3D Printing and Laser cutting! This session is intended for families of all ages looking to explore our space! Open Makerspace at Atherton Library is also available on: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-7:30 PM
Firebird Youth Chinese Orchestra Lunar New Year Performance

Young musicians from the Firebird Youth Chinese Orchestra will perform heritage Chinese music on traditional Chinese instruments as we get ready to celebrate the Lunar New Year.
5th Annual Puzzle Hunt: Kickoff Weekend!
Time: 2:30 PM | Location: Mitchell Park Library - Midtown Room
Description Celebrate the 5th Annual Palo Alto Puzzle Hunt! The Puzzle Hunt is a puzzle-based scavenger hunt filled with a variety of wordplay, logic, math, reasoning, and creative thinking challenges. Collaborate with friends and family to follow the clues around town and assemble answers to the final meta-puzzle! Whether you are a skilled solver or this is your first time, all are welcome at the Mitchell Park Library for this drop-in program to get a sneak preview of this year’s puzzles before they are released online. Attendees can learn more about this year’s theme, brush up on their puzzling skills, and start solving this year’s conundrums. Yarn Mane Horse Papercraft

Happy Year of the FIRE HORSE! According to the Chinese horoscope, those born in the Year of the Horse are confident, responsible, and enthusiastic. We’ll be using yarn to create a beautiful mane for a horse papercraft. This program is intended for youth and families.
Girls Who Code
Time: 3:30 PM | Location: Los Gatos Public Library - Technology Lab
The Los Gatos Library has partnered with @GirlsWhoCode to create a club meant for people ages 12-18 to learn to code and change the world! “What will I Learn? Our middle and high school Clubs encourage you to impact the community in a positive way through code. In order to build the skills you need to make an impact, you will learn how to code from our fun online tutorials and activities that will help you build animations, games, apps, and other things that you dream up!
