Storytime for Babies at Cupertino Library

Join us for Storytime for Babies in our first floor program room! This storytime series is suitable for children ages 0 to 1 and will feature stories, songs, fingerplays, and more, all to encourage the development of crucial early literacy skills. Parents and babies will listen together, learn together, and play together. This storytime is for pre-walkers and is limited to the first 30 babies, with a maximum of 2 adults per family group. Every Thursday at 11:00 AM, children will enjoy early literacy activities such as stories, songs, rhymes, fingerplays, and movement activities all in the Japanese language. This program is brought to the library by Poponta Children’s Cultural Society. Established in 2008 and based in San Mateo, Poponta is comprised of a group of volunteers dedicated to serving the Japanese-speaking community. Are you a student in grades Kinder - 6th and need help with homework? We have tutors for you to receive homework help from every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 4-5:30pm. Homework Help for Grades K-6

Are you a student in grades K-6th and need help with homework? We have tutors for you to receive homework help, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. No registration is required. Walk-ins welcome as spaces allows. Basic school supplies will be provided. Please note: As a parent or caregiver, it is mandatory to stay in the room while your child participates in the program. Elf Workshop: Balloon Rockets

What if Santa had a rocket on his sleigh? Help the North Pole elves improve Santa’s sleigh to deliver presents faster. This program is for grades K to 5. This program will be in the Library Program Room. No registration required, but space is limited. Doors will close when the room is full. Do you have a sewing project to complete? Come visit our Makerspace and use our sewing machines that are available for you to use!Materials are provided and limited amount of fabric will be available, please bring your own fabric! This program is intended for adults and teens who are already familiar with using sewing machines. Minimal instructions will be given.
