Musical Jamboree With Stay and Play!
Time: 10:30 AM | Location: Atherton - Children’s Room
It’s a musical jamboree! Join us as we make music together in this silly, song-and-dance-filled storytime for all ages. This event will be held in the children’s room at the Atherton Library. After Storytime, join us for Stay and Play where kids and their caregivers can practice interpersonal skills, and have fun learning to share and socialize!
Baby Lapsit & Playtime
Time: 10:30 AM | Location: Sunnyvale Library
Join us for songs and bounces just right for babies 0 to 12 months. After storytime, stay for playtime. This program is for babies 0 to 12 months and their caregivers. No older siblings please. This program will be in the Library Program Room. No registration required, but space is limited. Doors will close when the room is full. Baby Bounce Storytime

Baby storytime centers around parent/caregiver-child interactions. This storytime is developmentally appropriate for newborns and babies up to 18 months old. Please join us for rhymes, lap bounces, singing, instruments and a book or two.
Hora de Cuentos en Español: Celebrate Dia de los Muertos!
Time: 11:00 AM | Location: College Terrace Library
Description Los invitamos a participar junto a la señorita Juliana para la hora de cuentos familiares en español en la biblioteca de College Terrace. La hora del cuento incluye una variedad de actividades como cuentos, canciones, rimas y movimientos. Storytime es una experiencia divertida e interactiva para toda la familia que promueve el placer de leer y aprender para todas las edades. Este programa familiar se ofrece en español y está abierto a todas las personas interesadas en aprender nuevos idiomas. Por favor traiga sus propias bufandas y maracas. Storytime includes a variety of early literacy activities such as stories, songs, rhymes, and movements. Storytime is a fun and interactive experience for the whole family that promotes the joys of reading and learning for all ages. This family-friendly program is hosted in Spanish and open to all including native speakers and those interested in learning new languages. Please bring your own scarves and shakers. The library is not providing shared supplies at this time. This storytime is an indoor/outdoor program. Use of outdoor space is weather dependent. Make sure to follow us on YouTube for more stories, songs and rhymes, including a playlist of all of our favorite songs to sing!
Halloween Storytime & Trick-or-Treat Parade (Ages 0-5)
Time: 11:00 AM | Location: Los Gatos Public Library - Front Lawn
Join us for a not-so-spooky Halloween celebration at the Library! Costumes are not required but encouraged at this Halloween-themed Storytime, which will take place outdoors on Civic Center Lawn. The fun continues afterwards in our Trick-or-Treat Parade, where we will circle around the Civic Center fountain. Library staff, Town staff, our friends from the New Museum of Los Gatos, LGS Recreation and the Friends Bookstore will have some goodies to pass out. Bring a bag or bucket for collecting goodies as you practice saying “trick or treat” (in words or in smiles!). See you there at the cutest event of the year! 3D Print and Paint

Join us for a fun afternoon of painting 3D printed models! 3D printing is one of our most popular activities here at the library, and now you have the chance to paint what you print! If you don’t have a printed model, don’t worry. We have a bunch to give out while supplies last!
Teen Mystery Game

Join Library staff in the Teen Room for a mystery game where you are a detective in a cold case. Join other sleuths in solving this hour and a half long mystery in the Library. Dia de Los Muertos Craft (Ages 7-12)

Drop-in between 4 and 5 pm to put together a quick Dia de Los Muertos craft! This craft is provided to us by Creativebug. Narcan Training at the Library
Time: 4:00 PM | Location: Los Gatos Public Library - Lobby
Stop by the Los Gatos Library every other Tuesday to be trained in how to use Narcan. This training will be a short training on how to: Recognize the signs of an opioid overdose Demonstrate how to administer the opioid overdose reversal drug naloxone Discuss the role of harm reduction in the overall opioid public health crisis strategies. You will take home a box of Narcan to add to your first-aid kit and new resorces for your community. Coding Club

Work on fun coding projects in a group setting. You are encouraged to bring your own laptop. A limited number of Chromebooks can be provided by the library if needed. ICYMI Movie Night Sing-a-long

Description Join us for a free screening of a recently released and much talked about movie. In case you missed it in theaters, you can see it at the library! Feeling witchy? Get ready for Halloween with a sing-a-long showing of Wicked (2024), costumes encouraged! Originally adapted from Gregory Maguire’s 1995 novel Wicked: the life and times of the Wicked Witch of the North, this film version of the Broadway musical is the untold story of the witches of Oz. Revisit this smash hit ahead of the release of Wicked: For Good, coming Nov. 2025. Feel free to bring along an extra comfy chair and settle in for a cozy afternoon at the Rinconada Library.
