Storytime for Babies at Cupertino Library

Join us for Storytime for Babies in our first floor program room! This storytime series is suitable for children ages 0 to 1 and will feature stories, songs, fingerplays, and more, all to encourage the development of crucial early literacy skills. Parents and babies will listen together, learn together, and play together. This storytime is for pre-walkers and is limited to the first 30 babies, with a maximum of 2 adults per family group. Please bring a yoga mat or blanket to sit on.Beginning 9/4-10/16: Due to construction Storytime for Babies will not feature the stay and play component. Join us for songs and bounces just right for babies 0 to 12 months. After storytime, stay for playtime. This program is for babies 0 to 12 months and their caregivers. No older siblings please. This program will be in the Library Program Room. No registration required, but space is limited. Doors will close when the room is full. Wonderful Ones Storytime

Firelight Shadow Theater: Fall Harvest Stories

Discover the magical world of shadow puppetry with Daniel Barash of Firelight Shadow Theater . After first introducing audience members to the art of shadow puppetry, Daniel will perform shadow puppetry versions of best-loved folktales from various cultures around the world. The stories will be centered on autumn, the harvest, and Halloween. The audience will be encouraged to participate throughout the program, and volunteers will be invited up to the shadow screen to help perform the shows. See you in the land of shadows!
